50 Sewall Street

Portland, Maine

50 Sewall Street, a medical office building designed for Olympia Equity Investors, is LEED-Certified in the LEED-CS (Core and Shell) pilot program and is, to our knowledge, the first LEED-Certified commercial building in Maine. Among its LEED credits are a heat-recovery system, bike storage and showers, a tenant education program, reduced light pollution, water-efficient fixtures, a white, high-albedo roof, recycling of construction materials, and use of certified lumber and materials with recycled content.
