Martin's Point Health Care Master Plan
Portland, Maine 2009The opportunity to acquire additional property on Martin's Point, a steeply-sloped peninsula, combined with the organization's aggressive growth, required a comprehensive review of Martin's Point Health Care's strategic plan. PDT has developed a master plan presented in a series of computer massing studies to spark conversations about appropriate development of the site. Parking decks nestled into the slopes and a new medical building framing the historic Marine Hospital negotiate the topography and historic covenants while facilitating the organization's efficient functioning.
